Ben is a career scientist with 25-years’ experience in industry and academic organisations. He uses his knowledge in molecular biology, biochemistry, structural biology, and manufacturing sciences to aid the development of new technologies for the life science, biotech, and therapeutics sectors.  He has an exceptional understanding of the design and development of methodologies associated with all aspects of USP and DSP bioprocessing.

Ben’s personal commercialisation experiences have exposed him to the challenges associated with scaleup manufacturing and regulatory compliance. Founded on valuable academic principles, Ben’s professional capabilities have allowed him to manage high performing scientists in a multitude of areas, namely small molecule and biopharmaceutical product development, preclinical/clinical (Phase I, II, III) and commercial manufacturing, and quality control. Such experiences have exposed Ben to the fast paced, logistical, regulatory, and scientific challenges associated with GxP.

Adept in making key decisions and working with other professionals to achieve goals, Ben is dedicated to commercialising safe and suitable products for consumers both in Australia and across the globe.
